The standard equipment operates on AC power. If you only have DC power available, you’ll need a pure sine wave inverter to convert power from DC to AC.

You can use other routers with the Starlink kit by connecting a network cable from the included Starlink network adapter to your router’s WAN port.

The Starlink dish requires to be outdoor with a clear view of the sky. However, once the dish is set up outdoors, you can use the internet indoors by positioning the starlink router indoors, the cable that connects the Starlink dish to the router is about 15 Meters.

This information is slightly different for the mini as the mini dish is also a router for the most compact setup possible

You can change the Wi-Fi name and password using the Starlink app. It’s available for download on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. After installing the app connect to the Starlink’s Wi-Fi to modify your network settings.

To set the Starlink to bypass mode first the router must be in a factory default state, meaning no WIFI SSID or password has been set.
