Wi-Fi Setup: Upon powering on, a Wi-Fi network named "STARLINK" will be available. Customize your Wi-Fi name and password easily via the Starlink App:
Wi-Fi Reset: To reset your Wi-Fi settings, locate the reset icon on the back of the router. Press and hold firmly until you hear or feel a click (approximately 3 seconds).
Dish Aiming: Please note, that the Starlink Mini dish is not motorized. Dish alignment is manual and guided through the Starlink App to ensure optimal signal.

Reserve Now, Pay Later: Need to confirm your rental dates but finalizing event details? Select "Reserve now, pay later" at checkout to secure your booking. We will hold your reservation and promptly email you a secure payment link when you are ready to complete your payment and confirm the rental.

Security Deposit Refund
Your security deposit will be automatically refunded in full once the Starlink kit is returned to us in good working order, as per our Terms and Conditions. The refund will be processed back to your original payment method, typically within 7-10 business days of kit return.
We ship all Starlink Rental Kits via UPS to ensure quick and reliable delivery across the entire United Kingdom. Typically, orders are dispatched 3-7 business days before your rental start date, to arrive latest the day before your rental begins.
While we strive for on-time delivery, unforeseen issues or last-minute bookings may occasionally cause kits to arrive late, we will arrange alternative options and provide updates. In the unlikely event that your kit arrives after your rental start date, we will promptly refund you for any days lost.
Kit Returns
Returning your Starlink Rental Kit is simple. Each kit includes a pre-paid UPS return shipping label within the packaging.
Replace Labels: Carefully remove the used shipping label from the peli-case and attach the pre-paid return shipping label in its place.

UPS Drop-off: Drop off your kit at any convenient UPS Access Point.
UPS Collection: Alternatively, you can arrange a UPS collection from your preferred address. Please contact us to schedule a collection.
SKYLINK RENTALS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Agreement
By accessing and using the Skylink Rentals website (https://skylinkrentals.co.uk) and the rental services provided by Skylink Rentals, operating as a sole trader, you enter into a legally binding agreement and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the Skylink Rentals website or its services.
Rental Equipment
Skylink Rentals agrees to rent the specified Skylink terminals and any associated equipment (referred to as the “Equipment” or “Kit”) to the customer. Skylink Rentals warrants that the Equipment will be in good working order and suitable for its intended purpose at the commencement of the rental period.
Payment
All rental costs are payable in advance upon booking confirmation via the payment methods specified on the website, including major credit/debit cards and PayPal.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of £250 is required for each Starlink Rental Kit. This deposit serves as security to ensure the Equipment is returned to Skylink Rentals in good working condition, fair wear and tear excepted. In the event of damage to the Equipment beyond reasonable wear and tear, or loss of Equipment, Skylink Rentals reserves the right to deduct costs for repair or replacement from the security deposit. Examples of deductions include, but are not limited to, damaged cables or components. In all cases of deduction, Skylink Rentals will provide the customer with a detailed breakdown of costs and updated invoice. In cases where repair or replacement costs are less than the full deposit, the remaining balance of the security deposit will be refunded. In the unlikely event that the Equipment is not returned at all, Skylink Rentals reserves the right to withhold the security deposit in full to cover costs associated with the non-return of the equipment.
Inspection and Responsibility
Upon receipt of the Equipment, the customer shall inspect it and notify Skylink Rentals immediately (within 24 hours of receipt) of any pre-existing damage or defects. Failure to notify within this timeframe will be deemed as acceptance of the Equipment in good working order. The customer accepts full responsibility for the care and maintenance of the Equipment while in their possession and will take reasonable precautions to protect it from damage, loss, or theft. Damage considered beyond reasonable wear and tear will be the customer’s responsibility and will be assessed by Skylink Rentals.
Equipment Replacement
The customer shall be responsible for the replacement at the full retail value of any Equipment rented under this agreement but not returned to Skylink Rentals within 7 days of the agreed return date. In such cases, the security deposit may be forfeited in part or full, and the customer will be liable for any remaining replacement costs, including reasonable attorney’s fees if needed for recovery of costs.
Late Return Fees
The customer agrees to return the Equipment to Skylink Rentals on or before the agreed return date. If the Equipment is not received back by Skylink Rentals within 5 business days following the agreed return date, a daily late fee will be charged, deducted from the security deposit. If the late return extends beyond 10 business days, it will be considered as unreturned Equipment under the “Equipment Replacement” clause above. In cases where the customer continues to use the Equipment beyond the agreed rental period without prior authorised extension, Skylink Rentals reserves the right to implement a forced rental extension and charge for the additional days at the standard daily rate, or remotely disable the Equipment.
Return of Equipment
The customer agrees to return the Equipment in its original packaging, clean and free from damage beyond reasonable wear and tear, and in working order, to avoid any charges against the security deposit (beyond reasonable wear and tear or late fees as outlined above). Return shipping instructions and a pre-paid return label will be provided with the Equipment.
Delivery and Collection
Skylink Rentals will dispatch the Equipment for delivery to the address specified by the customer during the booking process. While Skylink Rentals will endeavour to meet requested delivery dates, these are estimates only and are not guaranteed. The customer is responsible for ensuring the delivery address is accurate and secure and for being available to receive the Equipment or make arrangements for safe receipt. If collection of the Equipment is agreed upon, Skylink Rentals will arrange collection from the customer's specified address. Costs for delivery and collection, if applicable, will be clearly stated during the booking process.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
The customer may cancel a rental booking up to 5 days before the scheduled shipping date and receive a full refund of the rental fees paid and the security deposit. Cancellations made within 5 days of the scheduled shipping date will result in a 50% refund of the rental fees paid and a 100% refund of the security deposit. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the rental start date or after the kit has been shipped. Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days of cancellation confirmation to the original payment method.
Rental Period Extensions
Requests for rental period extensions must be made at least 48 hours prior to the original return date and are subject to Equipment availability and Skylink Rentals' sole discretion. If an extension is granted, additional rental fees will apply for the extended period and must be paid in advance upon confirmation of the extension.
Termination by Skylink Rentals
Skylink Rentals reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement at any time, without notice, and to demand the immediate return of the Equipment if any of the following occur:
- The customer breaches any of these Terms and Conditions.
- The Equipment is used in any unlawful or inappropriate manner or in violation of Starlink’s Acceptable Use Policy.
- Equipment becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., prior damage, loss). In this case, Skylink Rentals will offer a full refund of rental fees and security deposit as the customer’s sole remedy.
Upon termination of this Agreement by Skylink Rentals, the customer shall immediately return the Equipment at their own expense. Skylink Rentals reserves the right to withhold the security deposit in part or full to cover any costs incurred due to the customer's breach, or unreturned equipment.
Force Majeure
Skylink Rentals shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (Force Majeure), including but not limited to acts of God, war, riots, fire, flood, pandemic, strikes, equipment malfunction not due to Skylink Rentals' negligence, or loss/damage of Equipment in transit to the customer (where Skylink Rentals takes reasonable steps to investigate and resolve). In a Force Majeure event preventing rental commencement, Skylink Rentals' liability is limited to a full refund of rental fees and security deposit already paid.
Liability and Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the customer agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Skylink Rentals, its sole trader operator, and its agents from and against any and all losses, liabilities, damages, claims, actions, causes of action, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (i) the customer’s use, misuse, or abuse of the Equipment; (ii) any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the customer; (iii) any negligence or wilful misconduct of the customer in relation to the Equipment. This indemnification includes, but is not limited to, claims for property damage, personal injury, or death.
Release of Liability
The customer hereby releases and discharges Skylink Rentals, its sole trader operator, from any and all liability for damage and injury to the customer and/or any other person and/or property resulting from negligence, installation, maintenance, selection, adjustment, and/or use of the Equipment rented hereunder, or any other fault, accepting full responsibility for any and all such damage and/or injury which may result therefrom.
Limitation of Damages
In any contract, tort, or other action against Skylink Rentals, damages are limited to the amount of the rental fee actually paid by the customer. The customer agrees that in no event shall Skylink Rentals be liable for any consequential, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits or revenue, even if Skylink Rentals has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Prohibited Use
The customer acknowledges that it is strictly forbidden to operate the rented Equipment under the influence of narcotics, and/or mind-altering or illegal substances, or for any unlawful purpose. The customer is prohibited from using the Equipment for any activities that violate Starlink’s Acceptable Use Policy (referenced below) or any applicable laws or regulations.
Acceptable Use Policy
The customer agrees to adhere to Starlink’s Acceptable Use Policy currently located at: https://www.starlink.com/legal/documents/DOC-1001-59234-61?regionCode=UK . The customer is responsible for ensuring their use of the Equipment complies with this policy.
Equipment Instructions
The customer confirms that they have been provided with and understand all instructions on the use of the Equipment, including setup, operation, and stowage. The customer acknowledges their responsibility to read and fully understand all instructions provided by Skylink Rentals regarding the setup, use, and stowage of the Equipment.
Insurance
Skylink Rentals does not provide insurance coverage for rented Equipment. Customers are advised to consider obtaining their own insurance to cover potential risks associated with Equipment use during the rental period, especially for events or higher-value applications.
Data Privacy and GDPR
Skylink Rentals is committed to protecting the customer's personal data. Personal data provided by the customer will be used to process orders, manage rentals, provide customer support, and improve website services, as outlined in the Skylink Rentals Privacy Policy. Customer data may be shared with trusted third-party partners, such as UPS for shipping and delivery tracking, and with our accounting software provider for transaction reconciliation and refunds. Skylink Rentals implements reasonable security measures to protect customer data stored on our secure website servers, which are regularly monitored and updated. By using Skylink Rentals' website and services, the customer consents to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal data in accordance with the Skylink Rentals Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Dispute Resolution
Skylink Rentals is committed to customer satisfaction and will endeavour to resolve any disputes fairly and efficiently. Customers are encouraged to contact Skylink Rentals directly to discuss any concerns or issues. In the unlikely event that a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation.
Severability
If any clause or provision of these Terms and Conditions is deemed unenforceable or invalidated by law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Age Requirement
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the customer certifies that they are 18 years of age or older.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Modifications
Skylink Rentals reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior individual notice. Skylink Rentals will post any modifications on its website (https://skylinkrentals.co.uk). It is the customer’s responsibility to review the current Terms and Conditions before each rental. Continued use of the Skylink Rentals website and its services after modifications are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, along with the Skylink Rentals Privacy Policy and any rental agreement or booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Skylink Rentals with respect to the rental of Equipment and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, negotiations, representations, warranties, and communications, both written and oral.
Liability for Illegal Activity
During the rental period, the customer is solely responsible and liable for any illegal activity conducted while using the rented Equipment, including but not limited to activities that violate Starlink’s Acceptable Use Policy, as outlined on their website (https://www.starlink.com/legal/documents/DOC-1001-59234-61?regionCode=UK). The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Skylink Rentals from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from such illegal activities.

By using the Skylink Rentals website and its services, the customer confirms their understanding and agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.

You can change the Wi-Fi name and password using the Starlink app. It’s available for download on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. After installing the app connect to the Starlink’s Wi-Fi to modify your network settings.
